Michael Monroe is one of the most famous Finnish Rock Stars and a multi-instrumentalist. Michael started to play in the 70’s before being the vocalist of Hanoi Rocks band. He also appeared with lots of bands as famous as the Guns N’ Roses.

Since 2010, Michael Monroe has a new band and he was performing at Tavastia-Klubi in Helsinki where I’ve been able to shoot his concert.

Michael Monroe is also participating to the Finnish TV program The Voice of Finland as a coach. In 2017 he selected Andrea Brosio who went up to the final. Andrea and Michael became very good friends, that’s why Andrea’s band was the opening band in Tavastia.

The venue was completely full, Michael and his band had a lot of energy and it was one of the best artists I have shot. There was a great atmosphere on stage and backstage.
