Järvenpää is a small town in the south of Finland and every New Year’s Eve the city organises a fireworks show.
And like every year, the music used during this 10 minutes show is Finlandia from Jean Sibelius who has spent a part of his life in this town.
As you can imagine, winter in Finland is quite cold but this year it wasn’t so bad. The fireworks started at 19:00 after a long and boring speech. In fact, the speech was longer than the fireworks.
The show had nothing special, just a few rockets and to be honest, the waiting in the cold was not worth it.
I wish you a Happy New Year full of happiness and love.
