Original Sokos Hotel Royal is located in the centre of Vaasa, close to Kauppatori, a market square and just near Espen shopping mall.
There are lots of restaurants and walking streets all around the hotel.

The hotel has its own underground parking which costs 14€ per 24 hours.
The lobby was quite big, the check-in was fast and the staff was very nice and helpful. Each guest had a free welcome drink voucher at their restaurant.
I stayed in a Standard Queen room which was spacious, clean and quiet.
Inside the room, there was a minibar, a kettle with free tea and coffee facilities, a large and comfortable bed, an LCD TV and a small bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The room had a modern decoration but the bathroom was a bit outdated.
There was free Wi-Fi inside the room.
Even if my room was located near the lift, it was very quiet and I didn’t listen to any noise at night.
On the last floor, there were free saunas and a swimming pool that I didn’t have time to try but you can see it on my video.
The breakfast was in the building on the opposite side of the street. To access it you can cross the road or take the small underground tunnel.
The breakfast buffet was very good with a large choice of food, yoghurts, fresh fruits, juices, fresh bread and a few pastries.
If I have to stay again in Vaasa I will choose this hotel.
