Who is David Vinot Photography?

Well, let’s just say that when it comes to talking about me, I’m definitely not an expert in the matter. In fact, I’m much more comfortable behind a camera than in front of one!

My first encounter with photography was in the early 90s when I started using a film camera. When the digital camera came about, I became very quickly addicted! As the years went on I learnt the different techniques by experimenting and trying them out. I am very passionate about photography and every day I love making new discoveries about the latest techniques.

I shoot as I go as we say and love playing with the light. Nature is my playground as it is ever-changing and night photography is the area I like to experiment and play with the “light”.

I prefer to spend my time shooting than stuck to a computer screen. When I am, I always tend to think that I’m missing out on some really good shots!
So apart from the HDR pictures, all my work is natural and untouched by Photoshop. I am a photographer, not a graphic designer!

When I’m travelling be sure that my camera is with me. I wouldn’t like to miss nice shots.

Some of my pictures are on stock photography websites like Bigstock, Dreamstime, Fotolia, iStock, EyeEm and Getty Images and others have been published in local, national or international newspapers, guides and magazines.
